Here is a picture of Taylor, Nick and Caleb on their first day of 3rd grade! Taylor was able to go to school for a couple of hours today and meet her teacher and see her classmates. Taylor took her Dad with her....so he could remind everyone to wash their hands. :) Taylor said it was a fun day and is looking forward to attending a couple of hours tomorrow as well.

Taylor is doing well! She is so brave. There was a small blood clot they found with the scans and she will be receiving 2 shots a day in her belly to thin her blood. She is so tough though, she said they didn't even hurt! Tough Gal! She gets to go to school for a couple hours on Monday for her first day too! She is pretty excited about her new teacher, Mrs. Miller and seeing all her friends. I will make sure Madge gets a picture of that! The picture below is from last night... Taylor sure does luv that Crazy Carl!

Taylor is doing well. She had a pet scan and a cat scan today. Madge said they should have the results of that Thursday. I will be sure to get those posted ASAP. Taylor did get to go on a little road trip with her Aunt Terrie to Horseshoe Bend for ice cream and corn on the cob. Yum! Sounds like the perfect summer treat.

Taylor had a treatment yesterday and is doing well. The doctors said her counts were still high at this time. Madge did say they are still keeping visitors to a minimum. Taylor won't have another treatment for 2 weeks.

This was last night with Taylor with Nick, Caleb and Christian. They're all still smiling which is a good sign. haha. I know they all missed each other. Taylor looks so cute in all those hats she has. What a doll!

Taylor had a great weekend. We went to Panda Express for lunch on saturday, grabbed a frozen yogurt and played 2 games of yahtzee. That girl wins every time! She has a great attitude and is doing very well. Nick and Caleb came home Saturday and she was missing them but she may have changed 2 days later. haha.

Taylor had a great Thursday. No news to report other than that brave girl's BIG smile. I posted a picture of Taylor with her girlfriends Pilar and Elena. Pilar and Elena also recently cut more than 10 inches of their hair to donate to Locks of Love. I hope everyone enjoys the BIG smiles in this picture as much as I do.

Taylor just finished receiving all 3 of her chemotherapy treatments. The Doctors said all of her counts were really really good so.....she doesn't have to stay at the hospital! DH and Madge say that they will be trying to keep Taylor's visitors to a minimum for the next little while though. Let's hear it for Taylor!

Taylor had a great Tuesday. Laura and Cathy came over and brought special guest kittens Tiberius and Paisley. Taylor had such a great time playing with the kitties. We had Chapala's for dinner and Taylor likes her salsa HOT! After watching the kitties run around the 4 of us girls played a game of yahtzee. Taylor won! She is off this morning for her treatment and I will try to get more info posted regarding that as soon as I hear from Madge.

Taylor had a great Monday! She had her friend Chloe over and the girls played for hours. Madge said Taylor went all day without any pain medicine and was just able to enjoy her visit with Chloe. She didn't even want to rest and watch a movie. Taylor is going back to St. Lukes tomorrow for her big treatment and I will do my best to update everybody on that when I receive any info from Madge.

Hey Gang,

Taylor is home! Taylor went home on Saturday afternoon. She is doing very well. Madge said she is getting some of her appetite back and was eating them out of house and home. That is a great thing since she had lost some weight since starting her treatment and with her sore mouth. She had a great Sunday playing with her friend Chloe and watching movies. Taylor's next treatment will be on Wednesday. She is getting stronger everyday and continuing to keep her head up. She is AMAZING!

Just a quick update: Taylor received another treatment yesterday and Madge said that went well. She had a great visit from her good friends Pilar and Elena too. The 3 girls visited for a few hours! Madge said she finally slept through the entire night with no interruptions which is the first time in quite a while so that's good for Taylor too. She is still fighting with the sores in her mouth which do cause discomfort but she is continuing to get stronger everyday.

I wanted to show everyone Taylor's cute new haircut. I think she looks like such a beautiful young lady. Taylor's hair is falling out now pretty rapidly so she got her haircut yesterday and was able to donate it to locks of love. She has sores in her throat and still has some pain in her belly which is a result of the treatment. Madge did say that she continues to get stronger everyday. Taylor will be receiving her third treatment tomorrow. I posted the picture of her haircut for everyone to see- notice her smile. She is such a brave girl.

Hey All,

I wanted to get an update out that Taylor is back at St. Lukes. She had a fever so Margaret and DH thought it would be best to take her back in. She also had some pain in her belly and a bit of a sore throat that is related to the treatment. They did perform an x-ray just to make sure there wasn't anything abnormal and that turned out fine. I am trying to get up to see her today if possible and will try to get another update on after that.
